The Juvenile Specialist is responsible for consistently delivering superior experiences for RUs Customers through the use of suggestive selling techniques which results in the auction of trade to our Customers. The Juvenile Specialist helps promote and sell our service programs such every bit: Endless Earnings Reward programme; Square Trade, the RUs Credit Card, Rewards RUs Loyalty program, and seminar/events bachelor at the store.
The Juvenile Specialist is responsible for grooming and developing our Team Members on Customer Service, selling skills and product cognition for the babe/juvenile departments. They serve as the subject matter good and is responsible for ensuring that all business initiatives in their departments are implemented and executed per Company SOP, along with performing and completing the Routine Action Plan (RAP Canvas) for their position during the shifts.
As the baby product authority, Specialists who assist at Baby Registry must ensure that they ask questions and engage Customers to determine the advisable products to recommend. The Specialist will ensure that Customers are registered for everything they will need and so that they are confident and excited and happy with the selections they have made for the new improver to their family unit.
Availability Requirements
The Juvenile Specialist is a total time position and requires flexible availability including nights and weekends. This position reports directly to the Assistant Shop Manager. They will spend the majority of their fourth dimension (upward to ninety%) working on the sales floor, devoting approximately 2/iii of that time to selling activities during superlative traffic hours.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate the use of selling skills by condign knowledgeable with our product and service offerings:
- To ask open-ended discovery questions in order to decide the right product for a Customer based on their needs and/or lifestyle
- Use product knowledge to help the Customer with product choices and suggest improver items to increase items per transaction and boilerplate sales
- Promote and offer applicable services to the Customer such as Endless Earnings Reward program; Square Merchandise Plans, the RUs Credit Card, Rewards RUs Loyalty program.
- To deliver supreme service using the STAR model with all of our Customers- Every Mean solar day, Every Time
- Drive sales in the Baby departments past achieving set up goals
- Use Save the Sale concepts to ensure that we are utilizing all Omni aqueduct options for Customers when items may be out of stock in store
- Help Customers at registry kiosk to ensure they have a clear understanding of how to read and understand the registry impress-outs besides as locate items in the store
- Display a positive mental attitude while assisting multiple Customers and providing fantabulous Customer service
- Learn safety requirements for products and communicate them to Customers to assist in their decision making process
- Resolve problems and Client issues speedily
- Work together with peers and ensure all our Customers needs are met and exceeded
- Communicate out of stock and other Customer impacting issues to Supervisor immediately
- Ensure that all displays are in working order for the Customers to demo and that the area is not bad and shopable at all times by maintaining Standards of Excellence within section
- Conduct product demonstrations to promote sales of items to our Customers
- Employ specific technology in department (shop systems) to look up merchandise, etc.
- Assist fellow squad members with baby registry knowledge
- Properly exercise the use of the advice tools as per the Telephone, Paging & Walkie-Talkie Etiquette SOP
- Execute all elements of the respective Routine Activeness Program
- Assistance in recovering the store prior to endmost
- Take initiative to further self-development to promote futurity growth with RUs
Qualifications:
- Previous feel in a sales driven retail environs a plus
- Strong Client service skills
- Must possess a high caste of interpersonal skills with an outgoing, friendly, pleasant personality that represents the RUs brand
- Excellent follow up skills
- Utilize strong communication skills verbal, non-verbal and brandish active listening to aid Customers in making their selections
- Ability to elevator and carry merchandise weighing up to 40 pounds and to climb/descend ladders
- Multi-lingual speaking a plus, but not required
